She Hulk . . .You can't really appreciate all that Jennifer Walters has went through, if you only see a hot green-skinned chick (that Adam Hughes love to draw GIGANTIC hooters on) standing one the front page of a comic book.

Jennifer Walters started out much like Bruce Banner (The Hulk) in the demenor of her "Hulk" persona. Jennifer was involved in a shooting trying expose corrupt practices of the mafia, as a lawyer. Well in an effort they tried to kill her, but only ended up harming her. But she had lost so much blood that she was in danger of dying. Fortunatly her cousin, Bruce Banner, had the same blood type that she did. But unfortunatly, the gamma in his blood was passed on in the blood transfusion. Just like Bruce, whenever Jennifer became emotionaly distraught or her adreniline kicked in she became She-Hulk. But just like the Hulk, She-Hulk has gone through many changes. Many many changes.

The reason that I associated Miss Terri with She-Hulk, is because through all the changes that Jennifer has gone through, she has always remained true to herself. She has never sacrificed herself, or lost sight of who she is because of the things that have happened to her. She has had hard times as all people do. But she seems to always see that there are good times to come, and even at what is precived to be rock bottom, really isnt.

She has been the Savage She-Hulk. Angry, violent and not in control. When she would change to She-Hulk she was unable to control the rage of the She-Hulk. The rage that obviously stemed from something that happened to her as Jennifer. But aren't we all angry at times? Don't we all lose control?

Then she reverted to She-Hulk, and was permantly She-Hulk. This series written (mostly) by John Byrne, show more of light side to She-Hulk. Here She-Hulk was a lawyer again, but was intelligent and capable. Totally concious that she was She-Hulk, but unable to be Jennifer Walters again.

This here series is what really reminds me of Miss Terri. As Miss Terri is such a upbeat and positive person despite the things that have happened to her in her life. She remains such a strenght to her husband and children. She-Hulk was always on the plus side of things, and at the same time down because of her publicity.

John Byrne did something that had only been done by one other person in comics. (See Animal Man #26 post) He wrote the comic in the manner that She-Hulk was aware that she was in a comic book at that she had readers. She would always complain to Byrne that he gave her second-string villians to fight. She always threatened Byrne when he would do "sexy" covers for the comics, complaining that Byrne was always trying to sell the comics to men, when she was more of a strength to women's rights.

There are alot of things about She-Hulk that remind me of Miss Terri. The more I write this, the more things that I think of. I really was on que wit this one. I wanted to do it from the start, but I wasnt sure. Now I'm glad that I did.

Miss Terri seems like that strength here on blogstream. It's like Pioneer is Byrne, sitting back watching our lives, writing what we should say and do. And there Miss Terri is telling him what for! Haha, that's a pretty good one. Not to say that Mr. Pioneer is controlling us at all. Just the analogy popped in my head.

All I am saying is that Miss Terri is a big stength to all of us. My boy, my brotha (who will be back) Big Shane, said that Miss Terri is the glue that hold blogstream together. But the thing is, even with She-Hulk, as powerful as she was, and as independent as she wanted to be, everyone needs help. We can't sit back and ask Miss Terri to hold all this together. We have to be there for her.

So let's all get out our blood transfusion kits and let's all get a gamma blood transfusion and help Miss Terri out.
